This board was requested by a bride who was a little lost on how to tie her color scheme together. She is having two adult bridesmaids who are wearing black dresses and a teen bridesmaid who is wearing a Persian Plum colored dress, which she originally thought would be darker to tie in with her vintage-ish gold and ivory wedding gown. The groomsmen and groom will be wearing gray suits and she is unsure how the bright plum will fit. I say, embrace the Persian Plum and incorporate it into different elements of your big day to really pull your color scheme together. I think the top middle bouquet would be great for the bride to pull in both the black and Persian Plum. I'd also give the boys a Persian Plum boutonniere but keep the rest of their look neutral and incorporate gray, black and Persian Plum into the paper elements. Hope this helps!

Inspiration 214: Pink and Orange Gerbera Daisies
Gerbera daisies are so pretty and fun! For this board I went with hot pink and orange gerberas for a colorful summer look. I love the hanging ribbons, so sweet for an outdoor wedding.

Real Wedding: Natasha & John's Berry and Cherry Beach Wedding
Jillian Modern Photography sent over this truly gorgeous wedding recently! I love the color palette they chose for their beach wedding and the ceremony set up is really beautiful. There are so many great pictures I had a hard time narrowing down which to share with you! Jillian also sent over some information about the wedding from Natasha and this is what she had to say about her wedding day:
"Our colors were "Berry & Cherry" (pink and darker pink), and my ladies looked gorgeous in their berry dresses (J Crew Bridal Collection) and monochromatic bouquets. John veto'd pink on the guys, but they wore gray tuxes (Calvin Klein) to keep things dressy, but not overbearing on the beach. Our flower girl, Ella, looked adorable walking down the aisle with my nephew, Matthew. My little cousins were also super-cute in their gray suits (and they liked their pink ties). We did allow our dads to wear their black suits.. especially my dad since he married us.
We wanted to keep the deco simple and organic to not take away from the natural beauty of a November afternoon Malibu beach day. But, we married under a white canopy that had crystals from vintage chandeliers hanging from the back (they beautifully caught the sunlight). We chose The Sunset, because we'd had wonderful meals there on prior occasions and it has an unbeatable view. Also, the draped ceilings created a beautiful backdrop to any theme.
Our guests were greeted with Bellinis for the cocktail hour and had their choice of filet, barramundi, or butternut squash ravioli. Dessert was a hit with 3 flavors of mini cupcakes and 3 flavors of french macarons.. And, John was pleasantly surprised by his Bengals-themed grooms cake (I'm from the South, after all ;-). We LOVED our custom cake topper that was fashioned off our Nintendo Mii characters (we're pretty big Rock Band fans).
About half of our guests flew in for our wedding and stayed at Hotel Angeleno. Upon arrival, the received welcome beach bags filled with Neutrogena products, magazines, and a welcome letter of fun things to do in the area. After the wedding, we sent our guests off with beach bags monogrammed with our "wedding logo" (I'm in Marketing.. so it *had* to be branded!) and filled with spanish wedding cookies for luck and fortune. Our DJ was a friend of the family who is now a big time Hollywood DJ.. she played great tunes for every generation. We might be a bit biased, but think (hope!) everyone had an amazing time. "

Inspiration 181: Amy Atlas Inspired
I was inspired by the cake in this board which was used in one of the amazing Amy Atlas's dessert buffets. Plus, aqua and magenta together are one of my favorite color palettes! I'm loving the bridesmaid's magenta shoes with their aqua dresses too.

Monday Funday 13: Vintage Spanish Style
The bride who requested this board said she was torn between two styles, vintage and Spanish. Don't worry though, there is no reason to be torn... you can combine both styles! I think a vintage Spanish theme would be great for a wedding. The color palette for this board is fun and bright fuchsia, yellow and blue.

Inspiration 173: Bright Vintage Wedding
Usually people who go with a vintage theme for their weddings seem to go for a soft color palette. The bride who requested this board wanted to mix things up a little and incorporate some vintage elements in with a fuchsia and apple green color combo. I love this 1930s style wedding gown (by Lulu B.) and invitations. And I think the bright color palette goes really well with a vintage wedding!

Inspiration #146- Eco-Friendly Raspberry Wedding
Eco-friendly weddings are becoming increasingly popular, which is awesome! The bride who requested this board wants to have an organic, eco-friendly wedding with an raspberry and cucumber color palette. Since one of her colors is "cucumber" I thought it would be a fun, eco-friendly favor to give cucumber and dill seeds so their guests could grow and make their own pickles which I saw on Green Wedding Shoes. I think using a chalkboard for the wedding program (as well as menu and seating chart) is also a great eco-friendly touch. She also plans on including lawn games, lemonade and a parade to reception in her wedding, which are all fun touches!

Inspiration #86- Fall with a Pop!
How about a fall wedding with a twist? The bride who requested this board wants to work with a fall color palette but add a pop of fuchsia. She plans to incorporate a lot of natural elements including pumpkins and natural wood. I think its so sweet that her dad is making her a tree trunk cake stand! Plus, she plans to have a cake buffet, yum.

Inspiration #49- Elegant Summer Wedding
A new request board! This bride wants to have an elegant black and white wedding in the summer. To give the long black bridesmaids dresses a little more of a summery feel, she thought of incorporating bright pink flowers. I think that works wonderfully! She also wants to incorporate lace and pearls.

Inspiration #42- Fuchsia and Yellow Library Wedding
This board was created for a bride who e-mailed me and was a bit confused about colors. She's getting married in a library and wasn't sure if the bright color palette that she loved would work in her venue (the library at Johns Hopkins University, such a unique venue!) My solution was to keep the bright colors in the flowers and other details and dress the bridesmaids in chocolate brown. Hope you love it!

edited to add: Just got an e-mail from the bride to be...
"Oh my oh my!!!!! I LOVE it. I wasn't sure I could have both colors I
loved, and you made it come alive! I truly like the matches you havecreated, most so the lemon fuschia flower bowl, the bursts of fuschia
here and there. Plus adding the chocolate brown to the fuschia for
bridesmaid dresses looks like it would work really well. I feel
honored you created this for me Carly. too. It's almost as having my
wedding featured in a magazine, that is, what my future wedding would
look like. Thank you so so so much. :)
Christine"

Inspiration #27- Make it Pop!
This was another requested board, I really like this color combo though. Blue and fuchsia really pop together! The bride mentioned that the men will be wearing white tuxes as well. Table decor and boutonniere images were found on The Wedding Chicks (check out the link for the rest of the blue and fuchsia wedding they came from!)

Inspiration #5- Orange ya glad for fuchsia?
Orange and fuchsia is one color combination that definitely screams summer to me. The bright vibrant colors remind me of sunsets and warm beach days. This inspiration board was fun to work on since its such a gloomy day! Hope this board reminds you of summer too:
