Real Wedding: Chelsea & Nick's Schoolhouse Wedding

Oh, what a cute couple and a cute wedding!  Chelsea and Nick were married in a historic school, I love how the ceremony took place on the stage.

Real Wedding: Erica & Bill's Simple Riverside Wedding

Oh, I am seriously digging Erica's style!!  Her veil is seriously stylish, and her gold-ivory short lace gown... oh my LOVE!  This slightly vintage riverside wedding photographed by Christina Kiffney is just so pretty.  The peach and pomegranate color palette is really lovely for a November wedding and adds to the vintage feel of their wedding.

Monday Funday 16- Skylines and Rooftops: a (500) Days of Summer Wedding

(500) Days of Summer is my favorite movie, and when I saw this (500) Days of Summer wedding shoot on Sarah Yates blog I knew I was going to make a board inspired by it!  For the wedding gown, I went with something short with a blue bow to reflect the dress Summer wore to the wedding in the movie.  I love that at the shoot they incorporated a pancake buffet, so yummy sounding.  How about blue printed dresses like the one Summer wore at her rooftop party for your bridesmaids?  And don't forget the skylines and chalkboards!

Real Wedding: Natali & Brian's Stylish Succulent Wedding

There are so many inspirational real weddings out there I can't help but share a few with you each week.  I love the use of succulents in this wedding, and the pomegranate and purple color palette.  Of course I adore the mismatched bridesmaids dresses and really like the groomsmens array of gray suits.  They incorporated some really great details so be sure to check them out!  And to check out the rest of the wedding check out photographer Jessica Claire's blog.

Inspiration #141- Winter Wonderland Fun

I was contacted by a slightly confused/overwhelmed bride for an inspiration board. She had a lot of ideas on what she and her fiance liked but not a clear vision for her wedding. So I came up with a board focusing on some of the elements she wanted to incorporate including Christmas, winter wonderland, red and purple. She also mentioned that she liked urban settings like factories and old buildings and I think that this bright palette would really pop in a venue like that. Plus, purple is a fun twist to add into a Christmas-y wedding, especially one taking place in Texas!

Favorite Wedding Friday #11- Pretty Pretty Picnic

Check it out! Love the mismatched bridesmaids (of course, and I actually suggested one of these dresses in my first Alternative Wednesdays post- look, look!), and the school bus limo, and of course that it was a picnic wedding. It was really hard for me to just pick a few photos, let alone one. That's why from now on this feature will be called Favorite Wedding Friday instead of just Favorite Photo Friday. Inspiration #98- Fun and Funky Lemon and Lime Wedding

The venue that the bride who requested this board is having for her reception looks like a really fun and funky place! She picked her lemon, lime and grey color scheme to match the venues decor. Anyway, if you are in Chicago you should check out the Catalyst Ranch if you are looking for a unique venue. The bride said she hopes her wedding is fun, funky, a little bit retro and a lot a bit DIY. I especially like how the bride AND groom wore green shoes in the photo I used in this board.

Inspiration #96- Navy and Lime Aquarium Wedding

How much fun does an aquarium reception sound? I think it sounds amazing. The bride who requested this board is working with a navy and lime color scheme with pops of orange. She also mentioned that she loves the idea of using fruit in her centerpieces. I have a feeling this wedding is going to be lovely and a lot of fun!
