Inspiration 185: Vintage Metallic and Mercury Glass

I love mercury glass, it has such a romantic and vintage feel to it.  For this board I went with a silver, gold and platinum color palette.  Another great idea on this board is using vintage vanity mirrors as table numbers, I think they would give a very elegant feel to your table-scape especially with the mercury glass votives and vases.

Alternative Wednesdays #14- Chunky Statement Necklaces

I am a jewelery whore, and I love big, chunky necklaces!  I especially love the way they look on brides.  It's a fun way to incorporate your color palette into your outfit and show a bit more personality.

Inspiration #159- Fun with Gray

Gray is my absolute favorite neutral.  And since there are so many shades it can work for any season with and color palette.  This board combines light silvery gray with butter yellow, bright yellow and a pop of red.

Inspiration #157- Metallic New Year's Eve Eve Wedding

I really appreciate all the fun board requests I've been getting lately!  You ladies really have some great ideas going for your wedding style.  The bride who requested this board is getting married on December 30th and although the church she is getting married in will still be decorated for Christmas she wants her reception to have a more New Year's Eve feel.  She sent me the image of the gold and silver centerpiece and told me that was her inspiration and that her bridesmaid's are wearing long black dresses.  I incorporated tons of gold and silver and lots of glitz!

Inspiration #156- Purple and Gray City Inspired Wedding

The girl who contacted me to make this board is actually a friend of the bride, how nice of her to help her out!  The bride wants to use a range of purples and a gray color palette.  She loves the architecture of her city (Pittsburgh) and wants to incorporate elements of that into her wedding.  Using the skyline on your paper products is a nice way to do that, and a wedding map is a fun touch as well.  Also, that bridge looks like an awesome place to get some great wedding portraits!

Inspiration #151- Classy Black, Silver and Pink Wedding

I am having a lot of fun creating the boards for the color palettes suggested in the contest comments!  This is a great classic color combo, I decided to stick to mainly black and silver details with a few pops of pale pink mixed in.  The cake and the brides accessories are my favorite details on this board.

Inspiration # 140- Romantic and Soft Pink Wedding

Oh this board is so PRETTY! This was a requested board, the bride who requested it asked for a pale pink, pearl white and silver board that was very romantic and incorporated small touches of butterflies. What do you think?

Inspiration #104- Unique Wedding Gown with a Monochromatic Color Palette

You probably know by now that I love unique and quirky touched. The bride who requested this board recently tried on wedding dresses for the first time and fell in love with silver wedding gowns. To go with her unique dress, she wants the men to wear navy suits and incorporate French Blues and white accents.

Inspiration #85- Updated Art Deco

This board was requested by a bride who wants her wedding to have a 1930s and Art Deco theme but also be modern. I think her royal blue, silver and champagne color scheme help to add a modern touch to the Art Deco elements. I love the vintage inspired hairstyles on the bridesmaids in this board. Another element I love is the modern touch of the open back dress that still has a vintage feel.

Inspiration #66- Cherry Blossoms

Another request! This one was from a maid of honor for her sister's wedding next July. She wants to have a silver, black and white color scheme and incorporate cherry blossoms to honor her fiance's Asian heritage. I hope you and your sister like what I came up with!

Favorite Photo Friday #8- Rain, rain, go away....

It feels like it has rained here every day for the past month (which is mostly true). But you might as well be cute in the rain I guess!  This is definitely a good example of making the rain work for you :]

Inspiration #45- Red Winter Wonderland...

This request was for a red, black and silver winter-ish wedding. Audrey (the bride who requested this board from me) found out about my blog from Bridgett, who I made the "Labor Day Blues" board for. How fun! I really like this board, it was a lot of fun to make! My favorite detail is the subtle hint of winter that the snowflakes give to the cake.
