-Bouquet Love-

I am seriously in love with these simple but unique bouquets!  The wheat really adds great visual detail and the shape of the bouquets are just so lovely.

Real Wedding: Amy & Nick's Awesome Artichoke Wedding

So yesterday I posted about the different ways that you can incorporate artichokes into your wedding and today I have a real wedding that incorporated artichokes into the bouquets and cake!  This wedding was photographed by Hoffmann Photography.  By the way, I love, love, love Amy's gown, so pretty.

Real Wedding: McKenzie & Deondre's Sweet Light Purple Wedding

I have a sweet wedding to share with you today from Sarah Christine Photography.  My favorite detail is the purple parasol!  I love the shot of the bridesmaids matching jewelry too.

Inspiration 199: Lavender & Baby's Breathe

I am really loving baby's breathe.  I know I posted a board featuring it last week but I have another one for you today!  This board pairs lavender with the soft, simple baby's breathe for a sweet spring palette. My favorite detail on this board is the pots of lavender and baby's breath hanging from the chandelier.

Inspiration 191: Parisian Spring Wedding

Oh Paris, you really inspire me.  I saw this lovely this lovely Paris inspired table set-up and sweet French macaroon cake and wanted to make a Paris inspired board.  I've made a vintage Parisian board before, but this time I went with a lavender and green spring board!  Also, I think a crepe station would be a great and delicious way to end the night.

Inspiration 182: Soft Purple and Blue with a Pop

I love the way the brighter purples and blues add a pop to this soft pastel board.  Hydrangeas play a big part in this board but I love the small purple flowers in the centerpiece of the picture in the top right corner.  What do you think of this color palette?

Alternative Wednesday #15: Poster Guest Books

While I still love the idea of a thumbprint tree, I always like having more options to think about.  So when I spotted these poster guest books I thought they were a great, fun alternative.  It's a great way to show your personalities and your color palette or theme.  Plus, you'll have some amazing, personal artwork for your home!

Next is a fun and personalized poster from Jonathan and Cameron's wedding on Love & Lavender:

Inspiration #153- Pretty Outdoor Hydrangea Wedding

Vintage bicycles and hydrangeas are a few elements the bride who requested this board wanted to add to her summer wedding.  She also wants to use a color palette of shades of purple and light greens, which is a great palette for an outdoor summer (or spring) wedding!  Her fiance is a competitive cyclist so the bicycles are a really nice way to incorporate her husband-to-be, I especially love the chalkboard seating chart with the hand drawn bike at the top.

Inspiration #133- New Zealand Picnic!

Sorry I have been MIA! Work has been hectic but I'm going to try to get back into posting. I've been working on requests and this is my most recent. This bride asked for a board with a garden picnic, hippy feel to it. They want to use dried lavender (lavender lemonade, yum!), baby's breath and maybe some roses from the market as flowers. I like the idea of the bridesmaids wearing a fun sundress (like the one in this board which is from Urban Outfitters!). They are also going to have a homemade sweets table, a Mexican food truck and use vintage china. The bride mentioned that she loved ribbon and lace so I thought a ribbon board would be awesome for the place cards. As for the hippy/vintage feel, I think an old record player would be a great detail! One other fun detail on this board, hanging vintage picture frames from a tree for take fun photos!

Inspiration #92- Southern California Mediterranean Blue Wedding

I really like this unique color palette! This board was created for a June 2010 wedding in Southern California. The bride wants to use a color palette of Mediterranean blue with lavender and silver accents. I especially like the idea of using Lavender sprigs in the drinks, so pretty!

Inspiration #88- Wine Enthusiasts Lilac and Chocolate Wedding

I really love many of the ideas that the bride who requested this board wants to incorporate in her wedding. My favorite is using a magnum of wine as the guest book, I love that its something that can be used and enjoyed in the years to come! She also wants to add a fun accent color to her lilac and chocolate color scheme. Some of the ideas she had were crimson, orchid, plum or Cymbidium Orchid green. I decided to go with the green since her wedding is in April so I think it brightens it up a bit.

Theme Thursday #12- Earth Friendly Farmer's Market Wedding

I know I haven't really been posting my daily features but I promise they will be back! I've been super busy trying to catch up on all my requests and I'm trying to get them done as quickly as possible. If you requested one, don't worry! It's on the way :]

This board doesn't have a specific color scheme, but it certainly has a theme! I'm calling it Farmer's Market Chic. There's lots of fresh herbs (as favors, escort cards and even a wreath!), fruit and vegetables incorporated into the centerpieces and farmers market (or in the case of the bouquet used in the board, supermarket) bouquets transformed into beautifully chic wedding party bouquets. There is a great photo set on how to change supermarket bouquets into wedding day bouquets on Real Simple.
