Fun board requests always excite me!! The bride who requested this board wants to create a 1930s gypsy/carnival feel with an jewel-tone eggplant and dark teal color palette. She also hoped to incorporate stars and tarot cards (used here as the escort cards). There are a ton of great elements in this board, but I love the veil the most! It definitely portrays that vintage gypsy feel. The hanging umbrellas are just amazing too, and the use of vintage suitcases is the perfect touch.

Inspiration 173: Bright Vintage Wedding
Usually people who go with a vintage theme for their weddings seem to go for a soft color palette. The bride who requested this board wanted to mix things up a little and incorporate some vintage elements in with a fuchsia and apple green color combo. I love this 1930s style wedding gown (by Lulu B.) and invitations. And I think the bright color palette goes really well with a vintage wedding!

Theme Thursday #26- 1930s Inspired
I received a request for a 1930s inspired board, it's always fun to work on vintage inspired boards! She wanted to work with a silver gray (her fiance is wearing a silver gray zoot suit), blush and black color scheme. I love the custom 1930's inspired wedding poster found here, it would make a great "guest book" if you got everyone to sign a mat to fit around it and then you can hang it in your home!

Inspiration #85- Updated Art Deco
This board was requested by a bride who wants her wedding to have a 1930s and Art Deco theme but also be modern. I think her royal blue, silver and champagne color scheme help to add a modern touch to the Art Deco elements. I love the vintage inspired hairstyles on the bridesmaids in this board. Another element I love is the modern touch of the open back dress that still has a vintage feel.

Inspiration #4- A man's kiss is his signature
The title of this post is a quote from Mae West, a popular actress during the 1930s. I felt it was fitting to go with this inspiration board for a vintage 1930s art deco style wedding. The 30s definitely offer a lot of elegance and glamour as well as beautiful art deco architecture, jewelry and vases (great for centerpieces!) Enjoy the board, it was so much fun to create:
