Monday Funday 27: Feather Boho Wedding

Today I have a pretty feather filled bohemian wedding inspiration board!  I went with a neutral color palette with some gold mixed in.

Inspiration 240: Rustic Peacock and Orange

This board is for a bride who wanted to combine a city and country feel into her wedding using peacock blue and orange as the color palette and incorporating feathers and pearls.  I think the bouquet in this board is spot on with the orchids and peacock feathers!  The clutch would be a great city chic touch for the bridesmaids to carry.

Real Wedding: Meagan & Michael's Vintage Chic Wedding

I have a lovely vintage inspired real wedding to share with you today!  I love how the couple incorporated feathers into various elements of their big day, especially the bridesmaids hair pieces. And boy, can Meagan and Michael model or what?!?!

Inspiration 230: Amber

Amber is a fun color to mix into a wedding, especially appropriate for fall.  I like how it is a mix between a darker shade of mustard and orange.  It would pair well with a neutral color palette or I can see it with teal, classic fall colors or hot pink.

Monday Funday 22: Victorian Steampunk Inspiration

This is definitely a fun inspiration board, great to brighten up a Monday morning!  The bride who requested this board wanted to work with a brown, purple and teal color palette that incorporated peacock feathers and rusty elements with a steampunk and victorian feel.  Whew... with all these ideas it could get a little over the top but the bride is a professional costumer as well as a cake designer and artist so I'm sure she will pull it off beautifully!  She requested no white (including her dress) so here is the board I came up with!

Inspiration 206: Bohemian Like You

Sorry, I just had to make the title that... I love that song!  Anyway, this board has a bit of a bohemian feel to it.  I incorporated feathers and a monochromatic pink palette to create this look, and I think it's lovely.  I drew the color palette from the awesome ombre (means shaded in French) cake and added a cranberry pink to the flowers to really make a statement.

Inspiration 205: Bold Blue and Gray Wedding

I just realized that I've done a lot of gray and yellow and gray and pink boards but I haven't done any, or at least only very few, boards that paired blue and gray.  So I decided one definitely needed to happen!  For this board I combined bold cobalt blue with a slate gray and a few hints of apple green.

Monday Funday 14: Safari Style

On My Fair Wedding I saw David Tutera create a safari themed wedding, which I thought was fun!  To keep this from being too over the top I kept the color palette to khaki, black and white.  I love the animal print shoes, the safari style bridesmaids dress and the get away jeep in this board.

Real Wedding: Juliana and Kevin's Colorful Button & Bicycle Wedding

Oh do I love this wedding!  First, the color palette is beautiful!  The fun and bright bouquet is really lovely and I love how they incorporated buttons and feathers.  I also love the bridesmaids looks, and pretty much every detail of this wedding!  To see the rest of this wedding check it out on Love and Lavender.

Monday Funday 12: Purple Peacock

Ahhh, this board is so bright and fun!  I love the use of peacock feathers in different elements of a wedding and I think purple is a great complimentary color for them.  I love the mismatched shades of the bridesmaids dresses in this board, they work with all the colors you see in a peacock feather.  The chair decorations are really great too!

Inspiration #136- Transitioning to Spring

This was my other guest blogger post! I think this color combo would be great for a wedding in ealy spring, the combination of the darker teal and robin's egg is not too bright for late winter but also not too dark for spring. This also includes a J. Crew wedding dress and I think all white or ivory flowers would go the best with this color palette!
