Inspiration 238: Rustic Eggplant & Orange

Oh what a lovely board I have for you this morning.  As you all may know/guess I love me a good rustic wedding, the bride who requested this board is having a barn wedding in the English countryside in late November.  Her color scheme is eggplant and white with touches of orange and silver.  She wants her wedding day to have a rustic and slightly vintage feel to it and this is what I came up with for her.

Theme Thursday 41: Modernized Vintage Barn Wedding

Another requested board!  I was contacted by Christina to make a board for her red barn wedding reception.  She wants to use coral as her main color but questioned if it would clash with the red, but I say no way!  Coral and red actually go together just fine.  For this board I used a few shades of coral (from softer to a more reddish coral), raspberry red, sepia, wood and white for the color palette.  She wants to incorporate a modernized vintage feel that has an outdoor touch to it that I think the natural, free form centerpieces really convey.

Inspiration 203: Pomegranate and Plum Rustic Wedding

Continuing with the rustic theme for today I have a sweet board to share with you.  It was inspired by this very rustic shoot on Glamour and Grace.  Pomegranate red really plays nicely with a pretty plum purple and craft paper with a bit of chocolate brown thrown in.

Alternative Wednesday #17: Plaid or Gingham for the Groom

How about a little fun with plaid today?  I love plaid shirts, especially on guys!  I think that this look works well for any wedding but it is definitely a great touch for a rustic wedding.

Inspiration 172: Yellow Rose of Texas

I haven't done a country-ish board in a while so I was itching to make one.  I went with a yellow and black color scheme for this one!  I love the bridesmaids in the all different cowboy boots and all the fun patterns on this board.

Inspiration #105- Pomegranate and Peach Rustic Wedding

Fall is on it's way, and it brings with it some lovely late summer/ early fall color palettes. I am really liking this burgundy and peach combo! This board was created for a bride who is planning a barn wedding that incorporates fruit and wood into a lot of the elements. I'm definitely in love with fruit centerpieces (maybe pomegranates and peaches? or cranberries?) and the carved wood table numbers.

Inspiration #84- Library Meet Barn, Barn Meet Library

The bride who requested this board was uncertain about her color scheme, but since she was having her reception in a barn she wanted to keep it a bit rustic. She also mentioned that her fiance and herself were literature "geeks" (her words not mine!) So I tried to incorporate that into the board :]

You could use favorite authors to name the tables instead of numbers (and include your favorite quote). I really love the idea of incorporating vintage (or vintage looking) books into the centerpieces. With this in mind I worked with a natural wood, gold/sunflower, rust and red color scheme as most vintage book colors tend to be in that scheme. The sunflowers add a bit of a rustic hint, at least in my opinion. I hope this board helps create the beautiful rustic wedding she's after!
