Alternative Wednesday 22: Striped Bridesmaids

I have a thing for fun and quirky bridesmaids' dresses.  Striped dresses are very stylish and I bet your bridesmaids will use them again!  Here are some great examples of striped bridesmaids:

Inspiration 264: Don't Get the Blues...

I love the dress in this board, the navy with to pop of aqua at the bottom is just perfect.  That was the inspiration for the rest of this board... I added some tiffany blue in too!

Inspiration 260: Navy Beach Wedding

I have a pretty blue board for you today!  Shades of blue incorporated with beach-y elements are definitely perfect for your ocean side wedding day.  I love the wavy pattern on the cake and the groom's stylish but casual outfit!  Oh and how about the tie dyed dress?  Just fabulous.

Theme Thusday 45: Quilts

how about some inspiration to include quilts in your wedding?  It could be a vintage quilt you inherited from your dear grammy or if you use one as guest book... quilts add a very personal touch to your wedding day.

Inspiration 257: Bow-ties and Preppy Charm

I felt like making a fun board for today so I went with a bow-tie inspired board.  The color palette is a preppy combination of navy and kelly green.

Inspiration 250: Bright Nautical Navy

I love fun props at a wedding!  From the nautical props to the "just married" sign this board shows how to incorporate props into your photos without going over the top.  Love the pop of orange in the bridesmaids necklace too!

Inspiration 245: French Blue & Blush English Countryside

Last week seemed to be all about bright colors, this week I'm on pastels!  This board was requested by a bride who is planning a rustic wedding in Texas with a English countryside feel since both her fiance and her are English.  Her color palette is French blue and blush which I think works perfectly with the feel she is going for!

Inspiration 243: Modern Cobalt & Lime

I got this request from a bride who wants to use cobalt and lime as her color scheme to add a modern pop to her New Mexico wedding.  The cake in this board definitely adds a modern touch!

Monday Funday 24: Sailor Love

Happy Memorial Day!  I have something a bit patriotic and nautical for you today.  I love the touches of rope and the red and white stripes in this board, especially the photo booth backdrop.

Theme Thursday 42: Something Blue

This Theme Thursday is a little different.  I loved the blue tulle underskirt and wanted to show other ways to incorporate your "something blue" into your big day.  Of course, this ice blue and white color palette is lovely if you want to make it your palette!

Inspiration 228: Blueberry Ice Cream

I love the purple shade that blueberries make when you turn them into ice cream or a smoothie.  For this board I combined that purple with navy for a fun color palette!

Real Wedding: Jennifer & Steven's Cobalt and Yellow Button Wedding

Button bouquets are awesome so I am so excited to share this wedding with you!  I like how Jennifer incorporated buttons throughout the reception to carry the theme through the night.  Plus, Jennifer was one stylish bride... I love her birdcage veil and shoes!  Check out this lovely wedding:

Engagement Inspiration: T & Jesamy's Sweet Military Engagement Shoot

L Photography shared this super cute military engagement shoot with me and just by looking at the pictures you can tell how in love Jesamy and T are!  I love how they found a mural that provided the perfect patriotic backdrop for some of their engagement photos.  And how sweet is it that T proposed in the same spot that Jesamy's dad proposed to her mother?!?  So cute, anyway... on to the pictures!

Inspiration 213: Navy, Lime and Orange-y Red

I have a pretty requested board to share today!  The bride who requested this board wants to use a navy and lime color palette with pops of orange-y red.  She wants to keep most of the orange-y red in the flowers, and I think these poppies are great. Love those navy berries too, they would definitely help tie the other wedding colors into the bouquet.

Inspiration 205: Bold Blue and Gray Wedding

I just realized that I've done a lot of gray and yellow and gray and pink boards but I haven't done any, or at least only very few, boards that paired blue and gray.  So I decided one definitely needed to happen!  For this board I combined bold cobalt blue with a slate gray and a few hints of apple green.

Inspiration 202: Spunky Cobalt and Coral

I am really liking bright colors and the way they make softer colors pop.  Cobalt blue is a great shade that can work for any season depending what you pair it with.  For this board I added coral, this palette would work for spring, summer and early fall.
ps- Coral peonies are just so swoon worthy!

Monday Funday 16- Skylines and Rooftops: a (500) Days of Summer Wedding

(500) Days of Summer is my favorite movie, and when I saw this (500) Days of Summer wedding shoot on Sarah Yates blog I knew I was going to make a board inspired by it!  For the wedding gown, I went with something short with a blue bow to reflect the dress Summer wore to the wedding in the movie.  I love that at the shoot they incorporated a pancake buffet, so yummy sounding.  How about blue printed dresses like the one Summer wore at her rooftop party for your bridesmaids?  And don't forget the skylines and chalkboards!

Inspiration 189: Cotton Clouds

I love the idea of adding natural cotton elements to a wedding!  It can show up anywhere from the boutonnieres to the reception decor to the cake.  And it reminds me of a beautiful sunny day with big fluffy clouds!  For the color palette I went with light sky blue, natural white, birch, khaki and chocolate brown.
