Theme Thursday #27: Tuscany, Revisited

I have made a few Tuscan inspired boards before but this is one of my favorites.  I love the combination of eggplant and sunflowers!  The bride who requested this board wants to have a vintage feel to her wedding and incorporate lots of sunflowers, grapes and wine.  I really like the idea of using grapes in the centerpiece, it really ties in the eggplant color the bridesmaids will be wearing.

Inspiration #163- Bold Red and Gold

Red and gold are definitely a beautifully bold color palette to work with.  The bride who requested this board also wanted to incorporate some blue, to help her color palette work with her venue which has a lot of blue.  I incorporated small amounts of blue into the flowers and also think giving the men red and blue striped ties would help incorporate it in a subtle way.  She also wanted to elegantly incorporate a "message in a bottle" theme being that is how her fiance proposed!  I used "message in a bottle" escort bottles, bottle candlestick holders and a message in a bottle guest book in this board for a few ideas.

Inspiration #162- Spring for Coral

I have another suggested color palette for you today, coral, spring green and gray.  I went with a soft grey to keep this color palette more romantic, but any shade of gray would work.  I think this is a beautiful alternative to a brighter orange and green color combo.

Monday Funday #10- Mint Chocolate Chip

This board was inspired by a shoot I spotted on Style Me Pretty that incorporated mint green with black and white stripes.  I thought it was really pretty so I decided to create a board out of it!

Bouquet Love #4!

I love the color palette of this bouquet, SO PRETTY!  Expect to see a board inspired by it's loveliness soon!

Inspiration #161- Eggplant and Apple Inspiration

The other day I got a request for a board that combines eggplant, lilac and apple green.  The bride was especially looking for table setting ideas so I incorporated a few of those for her.  I think this color palette is fabulous!

Inspiration #160- The Hottest Color of the Year!

Pantone named Honeysuckle the hottest color of 2011 so I knew I had to make a board with it!  I decided to mix it with a bright blue that is in between aqua and sky blue.  This is a beautiful color palette, great for either spring or summer.

Theme Thursday #26- 1930s Inspired

I received a request for a 1930s inspired board, it's always fun to work on vintage inspired boards!  She wanted to work with a silver gray (her fiance is wearing a silver gray zoot suit), blush and black color scheme.  I love the custom 1930's inspired wedding poster found here, it would make a great "guest book" if you got everyone to sign a mat to fit around it and then you can hang it in your home!

Alternative Wednesdays #13- Timeline Save The Date

I think this is a really fun idea!  Especially if a lot of your family is from out of town and doesn't know much about your fiance or if you've been dating for a long time.  It would really work for anyone though and can be as short or long as you like!

Inspiration #159- Fun with Gray

Gray is my absolute favorite neutral.  And since there are so many shades it can work for any season with and color palette.  This board combines light silvery gray with butter yellow, bright yellow and a pop of red.

Inspiration #158- Neutral Revisited

I recieved a few requests for neutral color palettes during the contest.  I already posted a winter one here so today I have a neutral and gray summer (or spring or fall!) board for you!  In this board I incorporated more cream, khaki and taupe.  I really love the gray flowers, I wonder what kind they are?

Inspiration #157- Metallic New Year's Eve Eve Wedding

I really appreciate all the fun board requests I've been getting lately!  You ladies really have some great ideas going for your wedding style.  The bride who requested this board is getting married on December 30th and although the church she is getting married in will still be decorated for Christmas she wants her reception to have a more New Year's Eve feel.  She sent me the image of the gold and silver centerpiece and told me that was her inspiration and that her bridesmaid's are wearing long black dresses.  I incorporated tons of gold and silver and lots of glitz!
