Inspiration 264: Don't Get the Blues...

I love the dress in this board, the navy with to pop of aqua at the bottom is just perfect.  That was the inspiration for the rest of this board... I added some tiffany blue in too!

Inspiration 258: My Wedding Inspiration

I haven't announced it on here yet but I'm engaged!  We are planning for a 2014 wedding, probably May... so there will be lots of time to plan.  I will probably blog about my wedding planning here a little bit but most of my wedding planning will be documented at my new blog Perfectly Ours!

Inspiration 252: Gemtones

What a fun color palette!  Although it is an unlikely color scheme, amethyst, peridot and aquamarine can work beautifully together.  This would be a lovely palette for a spring wedding, and you could definitely run with the gemstone theme.  A soft blue wedding gown really rounds out the look.

Inspiration 244: Softly Summer

I found a new favorite color palette!  This board is just so gorgeous, how can you not fall in love with this mixture of peach, coral, terracotta, mint, aqua and succulent green?  It does sound like a lot of colors but working within the two color families the combination seems to just work.  Love the peach and coral striped dress, I think it would make a great bridesmaids look!  I would love to see striped bridesmaids dresses be a new trend.

I love the invitations from Max and Molly's wedding created by Wiley Valentine.  So I went with the colors used in them and their wedding to come up with this board!

Inspiration 233: A Twist on Aqua and Purple

This board was inspired by the bridesmaids' looks in it.  I love the shades of aqua with the soft pinkish purple!

On a side note, I am leaving for Vegas tonight!  I have a few real weddings scheduled to post till I come back but after Thursday there will be no boards till Monday or Tuesday.

Inspiration 220: DIY Mint & Antique Coral Wedding

Lovely, lovely, lovely!  I love the combination of soft mint, vintage coral and aqua... and it really works well for a spring wedding.  This board has a lot of sweet DIY elements that are just to die for.

Inspiration 216: Outdoor Coral, Aqua and Yellow Wedding

This is my favorite color palette so I was so excited to get this request the other day!  The bride who requested this board wants to work with an aqua, coral and yellow color palette for her outdoor wedding that she wants to keep fun and casual.  She wants the flowers to really be bright and vibrant and the other decor to be more subdued, and a lot of candlelight for the outdoor reception.

Monday Funday 19: High School Sweethearts

This board was inspired by this 80s high school sweethearts love shoot.  My sister and her husband were high school sweethearts and I think this is a great "theme" for a wedding!  I love the story telling invitation and the pendants!

I love the vintage elegance that silhouettes lend to a wedding.  This color palette is really lovely and works well with the slightly vintage feel this board has!

Inspiration 207: Hot Pink & Bold Purple Summer Wedding

Loving this bright, beautiful color palette requested by a bride who is getting married in June!  Hot pink and bold purple are great together, and she wants to add a pop of turquoise/aqua which fits in just perfectly.

Theme Thursday 33: Backyard Mexican Fiesta

I am having a rough week and really wanted to create something bright and fun, and right away I thought- fiesta!  So I created a colorful and semi-DIY board to share with you.  I love the use of paper flowers, the cute bridesmaids dresses and most of all the idea of a margarita bar.  Yum!  But my top favorite element of this board is the basket of flowers for your guests' hair.  How sweet, fun and easy is that?

Inspiration 201: It's in the Details

The bridesmaids looks in this board rock!  I love how they each have different color shoes and that their shoes match their accessories.  To play off this amazing look I used the colors from their shoes in all the other details of the board.  The cake in this board is pretty awesome as well, I love all the detail work on it.

Inspiration 190: Bright Pink, Coral and Aqua

I was inspired by the colors of these bridesmaid's dresses in this post.  I love the bright coral, aqua and pink color palette... and it's great for a summer wedding!  And that cluster of paper lanterns and pom-poms is to die for.   They would look really pretty decorating the reception site.

Inspiration 183: Spring Aqua and Yellow + Green Hydrangeas

This is my favorite color palette!  The bride who requested this board wants her spring wedding to have use light aqua, yellow and green as the colors and to be springy without looking beachy.  She also wants to incorporate green hydrangeas which I included in both of the bridal bouquets.  The men will be wearing gray suits which I showed paired with a light aqua tie and a yellow and green boutonniere.  For more aqua and yellow wedding inspiration check out these two amazing weddings:  Kelly + Eric and Celina + David.  Elements of both weddings are featured in this board.

Inspiration 181: Amy Atlas Inspired

I was inspired by the cake in this board which was used in one of the amazing Amy Atlas's dessert buffets.  Plus, aqua and magenta together are one of my favorite color palettes!  I'm loving the bridesmaid's magenta shoes with their aqua dresses too.
